Dat Captain Trips or was it Major Misconducts??!!? Anyways, it was fun
whiles it lasted. He dropped over here the other day and .....well he is
IBM like most smart Atarians will do sooner or later. I like the ST, but
it seems dem IBM clones have some good software out dare.....

Listen to what he is really saying.
Trips is now IBM but he does NOT like
it. The only reason he went IBM is
because the school where is kids go
will not support any other system. He
gave me some good HONEST feeback on
the IBM and it is not good.

Well...the IBM has boo-koo software out dare. The only advantage of
keeping the ST is Vidi...cheap compared to PC Vidi which captures only one
frame...Like Computereyes...The graphics on the IBM clones are a lot
better..Super VGA stuff...Animations are great...want some porno to try
out?

Not! Anyways, if you don't know,
the PD carried a semi-interesting
story on Hacking in their little
Sunday Magazine. Not bad for not
getting involved with details, except
for the 200-WingMan number; now the
phone company will disable that
number, and leave many of us without
that service.

Yeah, this story can never come close to the API story. It was kinda
weak how this one went into factual into to subsidize for the abstractness
when talking to the kids...

Great idea for an 8-bit board Ed.
Just kidding. There seems to be a
lack of news on the boards in the
area of the ST/TT and related
products. Like for one, with it being
a real hot item in the PC world,
where is the ST/TT CD ROM? How could
Atari miss the boat so badly on this
one? For something that Atari claimed
had no market there sure has been a
ton of them sold in the PC world.

He was making a reference to the large cat-like animal spotted around the
Akron area.

People suspected it was a mountain lion or something.

Well, you might say I'm a Johnny come lately when it comes to computers
and Atari in particular.

I use Bobterm 1.21 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time.
I think Superarc/unarc, Discom3.2, and MyDos 4.4 are distant second to
women which are in a tie for first place with sliced bread.

So, even though I have tried other types of Atari utilities and am not up
to speed with Sparta Dos I am sold on Bobware. One of these day I get
around to sending him some shareware $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

You are talking about rats, not cats....

Once a lady smuggled a dog she found in Mexico back home to her
house....she tried feeding it dog food, but it wouldn't eat the dog
food....so she took it to the vet for a check up and to figure out why it
wouldn't eat...the vet told her that it wasn't a dog she smuggled back
home....it was a rat.....

I hate when them suckers will hide somewhere and them when you walk by
minding someone elses business...SWACK! They streak out and attack your
ankles like they are going to take you down for a big kill or something.
It will take more than one cat to bring me down! Then when you reciprocate
that offencive action against your persona, they boogie under the dining
room table and you have to fight the chair legs to payback the vicious
creature! Very frustrating...

welp I found out that the Berea scare grounds are somewhat worth the money
if you are in for a laugh and a startle here and there. I found that for
8 bucks you can go through two yep that's right TWO haunted buildings
er..houses and try to find your way out of mazes(that is sort of fun
walking in circles for 10 minutes) and then laughing at the funny dressed
people who jump out at you.....But they were dressed quite well and the
props were almost good enough to say "hey wow man that looks almost real!"
But if you want to go out for a good time and a good laugh...don't forget
that they have midway rides(oh wow a whole 4 of em that are good)....
The beraea scare grounds just may be the place for you!

Hey if anyone wants to know.....
If you want something really odd and wild to do, and have a lot of
unwanted circut boards laying around with a little doo-dad here and a
little doo-dad there....Just get a hand propane toarch and read the next
msg.....

now take the circut board(s) and lay them bottom side up or hold them in
your hands even...take the propane toarch to the back of the board.
When you hear solder melting and see clouds of black and white smoke
billowing off of the board...take the boards and smack it against a wall
or something solid...watch out though..components fly like crazy and
solder drips and splashes like wild. But it is sure way to get the
little things off of circut boards that you really wanted/needed.

'course using a little propane torch is a great way to fry those fragile
components beyond usabillity...

Your description of components flying out sound like fun. Definitely
something to do on a dull boring day.

but you are right on the free country shit...well maybe Clinton will help
(but then again we prolly said that about bush). all I know is is that
we have one screwed in the ass country and no one is gonna fix it in a
Ross Perot minute. Now granite he does have some good ideas..I'll give
him that..but don't you think it would take a little longer then 5 years
to get a deficite that increases by 13,000 bucks a second under control?
Just take a look at our country...If Clinton was smart he would make Perot
a finacial advisor or something....I think the word DELEGATE comes to
mind.
well I am tired of hearin about political issues and I'm sure you guys are
